Gavin moved to the UK in 1996 after completing his architectural studies at Witwaterstrand, Johannesburg and working for renowned architect Joe Noero for several years. He started working for DPA in 2002 and became a director in 2008. Gavin has a wealth of experience in all aspects of the job and particularly enjoys meeting up with existing and new clients, to discuss ideas and see their vision becoming a reality.
He is most proud of the work he did working on the drawings for a home for Desmond Tutu…but more recently of the Lakelands Academy Science block where his daughters attend school.
Away from work Gavin can be found with his family, making improvements to his own home and being a true South African, making biltong and following the rugby. He is also very keen on all kinds of aeroplanes and military history.
