Feasibility Studies

A feasibility study investigates and evaluates the potential of a site or building. It clearly sets out a brief history of the site, and its overall condition and significance, as well as the constraints and opportunities. Options are developed, compared, and a preferred option is established and a program of work identified.

Our feasibility studies are always tailored to meet a clients needs. They can range from a relatively simple assessment to a complex review of different sites and potential uses.

Planning Submissions

Planning is often seen as a complex and confusing process. At DPA we will guide you through the whole planning procedure. We will give you planning advice, We will submit an application on your behalf, keep you up to date on the progress of your application and notify you as soon as your local authority has made a decision.

Building Regulations and Construction Drawings

Building regulations approval is separate from planning permission and you may need to get both.We will check if you need building regulation approval before you start work on your project.Building regulations set minimum standards for design and construction of buildings to ensure the safety and health for people in or about those buildings.

Construction drawings are necessary in most spheres of the building industry.Construction drawings are the graphic and written records of decisions made during the design process. They consist of the final drawings, details and specifications and are used to communicate the design intent for construction.

Land Registry Compliant Plans

We can provide land registry compliant plans for land owners and solicitors, where a plan is required for first registration, transfer or long leases.

These plans are carefully drawn to meet the strict land registry guidelines.

We take your first thoughts, architectural layout and furnishing options and give you a realistic picture of what your interior or exterior will look like

Post Contract

The post contract period involves ensuring that all aspects relating to the construction are finalised and that the contractor has met all of their obligations. This will often involve numerous site visits with reports being written on the progress of the project after each visit.
